What is the library catalogue and how do I search it at TU Dublin Tallaght?

Answer

The library catalogue provides details of all the physical library collections such as print books, theses, DVDs and print journals.  It also includes details of ebooks.  In order to search it, you will be asked to login to the library.  The username is your University email address and your password (the same as moodle).  

 

When you have logged in and you search for a print book using the title, author or ISBN (unique number usually found on the back cover of the book), you are able to place a hold on or request the book if the book is part of the general lending collection.  Always check to make sure that it's the correct edition of the book that you want as there might be more than one edition of the book.
