I have lost a book I have on loan. What happens now?

Contact your home library and discuss this with your librarian. They will ask you to check everywhere the book might be or ask anyone who might have borrowed it from you. The librarian can also check the shelves in the library for it. Most of the time, the book is found.
If the book is really lost, you can arrange with the librarian to replace the book with a new copy or pay for a replacement.
